lest we forget

Friday the 29th, there was an explosion in our office building (I work downtown) and then the entire builing lost power.

Post 9/11 thoughts were running in everyone's head as we all went down the stairs with emergency lighting and the sprinklers going off over us.

The building was closed for a week (and since I have a job where contact w/ my clients is vital, I was working in another city...hence my lack of brillant posting :P ).

They said one of the buildings power circuits had been 'busted' but didn't release any other information. The building management refused to give out information for fear of starting rumors and such. The state inspectors cleared out a city block for a day as well.

Just a little reminder of the sad times we live in and a note to tell you to hug someone close to you. Also, a noble attempt on my part to notify you that only an exploding building will keep me from posting. http://www.voodooextreme.com:81/wink.gif
