Hosting all depends on wether you want your own domain name or if you want it hosted somewhere for free. There are a number of gaming sites that'll host you for free, whereas if you don't want to be affiliated with a gaming site, then go through geocities/yahoo or anglefire or someplace like that and get a free site. If you want your own domain name, I can point you in the right direction for one.

In regards to your request for site design help. I've been known to take on a few gaming sites/freelance jobs from time to time and I'd be happy to give you some strategic consulting/design help for free if I could see what you've got so far, or if you could send me an email w/ your site archetecture so I can figure out what your needs are (that is if you don't know them already). I don't have any of the gaming sites linked too from my site as they have all changed since I helped them out. Most of my web (html/design) work is for commercial and industry-standardization sites so the chance to do some more creative work is always welcome.
