I guess someone has to do it...

The Lord of the Rings was a trilogy of fantasy novels by J.R.R. Tolkien, which were later adapted into a film trilogy a few years ago. After the movies were released, several video games based on them came out from various developers. Most notable are the Battle for Middle-Earth series, and The Lord of the Rings Online, which is an MMO.

i know the lord of the rings. what i don't know and never heard that they make a MMO out the book or movie so i ask that question. so i think don't be rude. im not saying that all of you is like that.

You obviously mean LOTRO lord of the rings online. MMORPG is f2p and awesome (been playing since '07)

back on topic: Lotr: war in the north looks like a very nice version of Lotr: conquest. Maybe more of an RPG? we'll see.

Yeah it's supposed to be an RPG. I hope they don't screw with the lore and allow humans to be mages, but I imagine that will happen anyway.
