I'm on the fence with this one, they've got 3rd person (albiet only while looking round corners I think), regenerating health, and have followed IW and remove stat based shooting. On the other hand, it looks like it will have a great story, is keeping some stats, and the new augs will be epic. I'm pleased to see Adam wearing a trenchcoat .
I've been a Deus Ex fan since I first played it in 2002 when I was 10, so I'm still gonna buy it and hold high hopes for it!
These are (apparently, though there's some bits that look Photoshopped) some in-game screenshots, since the trailer shows us nothing in that respect:

This one shows the 3rd person cover thing, though apparently there will be an option to turn it off completely.
You can tell from the screenshots that they intend to make money with the game, so it probably won't be as sophisticated as the first part. Graphics look good, looks a bit like they went for lower quality to be compatible with consoles. The artwork is very nice though, a bit of a mixture between Mass Effect and Blade Runner.

What you mean about following IW with removing stat-based shooting?

I hope not (being a money grab). PC gamers don't need another announcement of DRM or price hikes to ruin their mood.
I also hope this game is longer than 10 hours.
Also, no MP (well, co-op maybe). This game doesn't need an MP component, and it may serve as a distraction for developers from the SP component.
It certainly looks loads better than Invisible Wars, even if it IS optimized for consoles. This could blow HL 2 out of the water. It just has a much more serious and sinister look to it. What was up with that Terminator ending though? Looked a bit too much like a rip off of the time travel in that movie, except fully clothed.

Judging by the trailers, it looks like they abandoned the cyberpunk and dystopian enviroment of Deus Ex in favour of the more military science fiction that Invisible War had. I won't get my hopes up, especially now Warren Spector isn't working on it.
