Regardless of the trailer I still will not be buy this game because IW has fucked over PC gamers and tried to turn the PC version into the console version. If I wanted to play the console version of the game I would buy the damn console version.

Paying 20% more for less doesn't seem like such a great deal to me.

Besides, while explosions are nice to some extent, this almost starts to look like a Baysplosions production.

Apart from the fact they've completely scrapped the historical and even remotely plausible storylines, they seem to have implemented gameplay elements from Frontlines: Fuel of War.
The trailer has done nothing but convince me this is a bargain bin purchase.

I just read that they included a controversial mission in which you play an undercover terrorist who takes part in slaughtering civilians. That's really not helpful at all for German gamers who are constantly stigmatized by politicians because of those evil videogames.

So you get less content, pay more and kick the German gaming industry in the balls if you buy this game. Amazing.

Nor is it necessarily healthy to release this kind of content on American soil right now what with apparent terrorist acts being committed by the US Army's own personnel in Texas. God forbid developers should start romanticizing this kind of thing at a time when there's already a lot of angst about the economy, our reputation as bullies world wide due to collateral damage, and misuse of taxpayer's money.

Well the PC version is no doubt going to get pirated a lot, and I think IW is even expecting that after the multitude of people having petitioned against their mp decisions. How they respond to it is up to them, but at this point I see them heading the same direction Epic Games did and eventually completely abandoning those they built their wealth on. In the future, it may be the case that the only devs that make PC games will be the big ones that double as publishers, like Ubi, EA, Rockstar, Codemasters, etc.

I think the majority of people who don't normally or have never pirated a game before might do it this time just to spite IW....

It wont accomplish anything and Activision will try to turn it around saying piracy is the reason they fucked up the PC version when in fact the reason it will be pirtated so much is because they and IW fucked up the PC version

I think IW responded to the petition saying "we don't give a flying fuck because we think some of the names are not legit and some guy signed it 4 times"

But I only heard that from screwattack's Hard news (double inuendo, im so childish)

But I got the 360 version so I don't really care about servers and I never really used mods for FPS games.

I played the single player of Modern Warefar twice, I would say 98% of the time was playing on clan servers with customer mods, scripts or maps running.

IW has basically killed my entire experience with MW2
