I'd go for 360, but that's only because that is what I would get it on since my PC can't handle shit for games and I don't have a PS3.
I'm waiting to read some reviews this week before deciding to buy it or not. I might prefer to save my money for Dragon Age Origins or MW2 or Assassin's Creed 2 later this year.

Which Canada do you live in? Steam says October 26th, as does my local EB Games, along with Wal-Mart and Future Shop.

I live in Ontario. I just read the release date on Gamespot and assumed it meant world wide. Well if it is released on the 26th it dosn't bother me much, I can't buy it till that exact day anyway! :P

I'll probably buy it for PC, just for high hopes of some cool mods.

It was released for the 360 today. Next week it will be out on the PC.

If you have the hardware to enjoy the game at graphics quality above that of the consoles then the choice would be obvious.
And, as has been mentioned, support for PC software is better, you can get community patches, mods or tweak the game yourself.

You have a good point, considering how replayable the game is already, what with the randomnly generated environments and such. Might as well let people keep playing it forever with mods. But then again, would mods really be necessary given the amount of content in the game already?

EDIT: I should mention that the console version has two-player splitscreen co-op.
