The patch isn't released because it isn't "finished" yet, it is as easy as that...

DBM.. don't be so quick to accuse Shiny of such manipulation. Remember how Shiny kept Sacrifice under wraps for a long time, rather than blowing hard about it.

B+W will be a good game- it BETTER be, after having FOUR YEARS development time and many times the resources that Sacrifice had.

B+W will have HUGE support.. but Sacrifice is too good a game, and the Shiny support is too thorough and sincere for there to be any room for a cynical attitude.

The new patch will transform Sacrifice into a new game- and seeing as the current game is so brilliant, that is quite an achievement.

I am betting that EVERYONE who has played Sac on-line during the past few months will tumble back into play with patch three.

The release date of B+W is irrelevant.

Shiny have done absolutely NOTHING wrong so far. IN fact, and I am sure that most will agree with me, Shiny are setting standards for support and communication which the gaming industry should emulate. As a part of that communication they have told us details about updates. NOw, you are using those details as a BEAT-UP on Shiny?!? good grief..

Sacrifice and BW are different games, people go to them for different things. I think Ill still be playing sac after I get BW just for the mindless carnage....

sac is fun but im really mikssing out on the beuty of the game.
