Like I said, there's a grain of truth in there somewhere.

Well, Red Alert2 WAS FUN for a while. I was so excited when I bought it. It was really fun for a while, then I found out about Sacrifice. I got it as a B-day present on the 20th of December and haven't played RA2 since. But anyways, it was a good game. The graphics were only a little better than the before C&C games and the gameplay was pretty much the same. The only difference was that it was really fast paced and the game would last around 10 min.

I think Sacrifice SHOULD have won that award though. It has new gameplay that hasn't really been explored before and it's great fun. Graphics and sound are awesome too!

Anyways, Sac should have won but it didn't. Why should we care though, we love the game and so did many other pc magazines and reviewers.

Personaly I think magazines are great if you don't like to sit in front of your computer for hours looking for new games and press releases. In a magazine (like PCG) you get alot of info about many of the new games on the way. I always read PCG or some other game magazine and then, when I've read about a new game coming out I get to the homepage of that particular game and check fo more info. So mags aren't really that bad. They are just don't comparable with internet. That's what I think.

imho the first C&C was the best, and RA2 is just the worst from the entire serie....
