Gil I didn't mean about getting a upto date m/b bios, my upto date bios didn't work very well. So i used previous bios for my m/b and sac now working fine.

Anyway my board is for amd but i guess u could do the same for intel board. its worth trying.

I guess we got to keep in mind that Shiny developed the game before the latest driver came out.

Well suposing that the lockup problem has the same source as with UT, I would have noticed that much earlier already, if it were the Bios.
In fact: without this Bios my 800Mhz wouldn't run (I've upgraded my machine).

Well know I've finaly found out what it was (jipiieee !): A friend advised me just to overinstall Windows ( mark: not formating!)
before over installing just save your "System.dat" and "User.dat".
THats it!
Now it runs wounderful!!
