Zoo Tycoon 2 on Vista

I seem to be having a little trouble playing. I've got the 'Ultimate Collection' edition, and it installs fine, and plays too, that is until I turn off my computer, and turn it on again the next day, the game refuses to load.

I am told the game was unable to run, and am given two options. Allow a connection to the internet to see if it can fine a problem (this doesn't actually seem to do anything), or, I'm given the option to end the program.

I've never had any trouble. I have all the demos but only the full version of the main one (Zoo Tycoon 2)
