Eurogamer: Relic "definitely looking" at Homeworld 3

Being a huge Homeworld fan, it gave me joy to imagine if Homeworld 3 ever got released. With Relic being more innovative than ever, who knows how the game will turn out. They're pushing the boundaries - in my opinion - of the RTS genre in new directions. Making you care about your units, squad tactics, cover? These are drastic turns from the staple C&C and Starcraft-esque RTS games of the past (and present). Company of Heroes and the upcoming Dawn of War II game are clear examples of this - both are also by Relic.

Would anyone else agree?

So that means they got the HW3 IP once more?

I can just see the melting hearths at relic news :P - A lot of people there are worse than NMA with fallout :P

Homeworld 2 is my favorite RTS, I'm glad to see them working on another one. One thing I'd really like to see is larger maps, and possibly more strategic use of space phenomenon such as nebula or asteroid fields. The maps always felt a bit too empty.

Well, it is not a confirmation that they are actually working on Homeworld 3, but it just saying Relic is showing interest in it...hope that interest grows though :D
