Mortal Kombat versus Dc Universe, MY REVIEW
 

Welcome to another review brought to you by me. Lets get started.

Gore= Now for you hardcore Mortal Kombat fans this will make you want to kill Ed Boon but the game has definitely took a lot of the blood away leaving only but the blood of smalls cuts and nose bleeds on the character and small amount of blood shooting in the air from punches, kicks, and some fatalities.

Graphics= The game has o.k graphics, not the best, but o.k

Multi-player= Same as always for Mortal Kombat games, nothing much really added to it.

Game-play itself= The game is not as bad as people say.
You got a good selection of Mk characters and Dc characters.

Okay now since DC heroes are in the game and they are good guys they have no fatlities, they have Heroic-Brutalities or H.B for short. The H.b's are weak in a way and the fatalities are the same but not as strong in other games.
In the game while fighting, 3 modes can happen:

Free fall Kombat= Happens when you throw someone down to the next stage, while in air you can fight and throw wicked moves and end it by swinging your opponent in the air to the ground. If you are the one getting the shit kicked out of you in free fall mode, guess what button the opponent is going to hit and click the button, this will cause you to be the one on top.

Klose Kombat= Starts out looking like a grapple but then the camera zooms up and you can throw as many punches till you hit a super punch taking a lot of health away from the opponent. Again if you are the one getting the hell kicked out of you just guess what button the opponent will hit and click it.

Rage= Fill up your second bar gauge in the game, when you do you will be able to go in rage mode deflecting all attacks being thrown at you and you doing serious damage to the opponent.

Another thing that looks cool it when you fight and get hit, pieces of your clothes get ripped, you form bruises and start to bleed.

The story is entertaining as well and talks about how the world of DC and Mk collided. I will not spoil the story so I will leave that up to you to guess what happens in it, from start to finish.

Final= Overall the hardcore Mk fans will be disappointed but for fans who just love the fighting and for new comers, the game will be awesome.

My rating= 8.0 Game that is fun to play when your bored

The realistic damage model is just about the only thing that sounds good about this game. The Idea of having DC characters in a Mortal Combat game is ridiculous.

In the end though, I was never into this type of game so I suppose I can't tell anybody what the fanbase wants.

It's okay, and ya the realistic clothes tearing, bruises on face and cuts are cool. Depends on what games you like.

this has gotta be the sickest mash-up to date! but yea i played it for an hour and got a lil bored. ed boone, the games cocreator, had a cool interview that let me know wtf was going through his mind. hahha

Sounds like it could be ok to get but in the end it boils down to bat man > all.
