I've got an athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4400+ 2.3ghz, 2gb's of ram, and an 8600 GTS 512mb Nvidia graphics card. Playing at all high and very high on DX10 with anti aliasing x4 (except i put post processing at low and 2 others at medium which i'll probably raise) and i'm playing the game seemlessly at 50 - 60 FPS. A few rare dips into the mid 40's. Also, i keep the same FPS while in firefights and while throwing grenades with huge explosions going off.

I have the PC version, and like bud said, the game runs great. I gotta give those guys at Ubisoft some credit on that one, the Dunia engine runs as smooth or smoother than Source.

I am running with pretty much everything on as high as it can go with no problems. I haven't had any crashes, no bugs, only the odd ragdoll glitch. I have been enjoying the game a lot and the map editor kicks ass.

For me (I have a 360) choosing between the PC and 360 version wasn't even a choice...

There are a few things that are bothersome about the game though. I've often found NPC's sitting in corners barking out absurd things trying to kill me and yet when im infront of them they don't move. And they could've given some more open, plain-like, terrain because it's mostly jungle and rocks. But, i've only explored the first half of the map, i've yet to get to the 2nd half and i've already spent about 10 hours on it, and i only have 8% of it done.

10 hours and only 8% done? wow. i spent 25hours on farcry 2 and im about 58% done.

Depending on which character you choose it will alter what buddies you meet and when and where you meet them. It isn't a really huge change, but you may meet Clyde first when you choose one character and might meet someone different if you choose another
