Never happens to me. I wouldnt speak on all of us. if i was you. :moon::moon::moon: On consoles or pc. i never had a issuie. with anything in my life. Only BSOD's i ever gotton was due to my own fault for overclocking consoles never got broke. nothing. Not even my 4 year old pc hardware died. I must be lucky. |
Re: Difference Between Farcry 2 on PC and Consoles? Generally, the older 360s and ps3 will possibly even have trouble running the game seamlessly, as it's console version is mostly optimised at the newer ones. One of the reasons why a lot of people will probably experience the red ring now more than ever. Not to mention that mouse+keyboard>Gamepad. And the mods and whatever that will show up sooner or later on the pc. All in all, if you disregard the DRM, which will hopefully get removed just as bioshocks did, PC>Console in all aspects. |

Oh and i've had my 360 since a couple months after the console was launched, never encountered RROD and never had any problems with it. |

Re: Difference Between Farcry 2 on PC and Consoles? Bah, went to gamestop today and just said "Screw it" and bought it for PC. The guy actually gave me the preorder edition (i didn't preorder it) which gives 6 extra bonus missions. |

Re: Difference Between Farcry 2 on PC and Consoles? Quote:
At the end of the day, the performance difference between PC and console can be very little. However, PCs always have the potential to run a game far better/smoother than a console. The upside/downside (depending on how one chooses to look at it) of PC gaming, is that PCs can be upgraded for "near"/"far" future use. The upside/downside (again, depending on how one looks at it) of console gaming, is that a console only needs upgrading to the next model, when companies favour the "superior" or "next-gen" console. |
