Messiah won't boot
 

Ok. just downloaded the chuck of Messiah, all 70megs (in 5 mins tho). I saw one of my friends playing it, thought I'd give it a shot on my system which is as follows:

Celeron 300a@451Mhz
128megs pc100 RAM
Guillemot 3d Prophet SDR 32megs (overclocked from 120/166 --> 130/185)
2 Guillemot Voodoo2 MaxiGamer 3d2's SLI MODE
10gig drive, 16x cdrom, cable modem etc etc...all the goodies

I've tried using both sets of vid cards. Told me to make desktop 16-bit, so i did.

3dfx mode: shows the 3dfx logo, goes black...stays black...[not responding]

D3d mode: screen res changes, little white lines all over the place. [not responding]

I can't seem to figure it out. Any help?? Thanks a bunch!

ah yes, I forgot... i have Directx7a installed as well as the 3.69 reference drivers for the Nvidia Geforce card. agp aperture size is set to 64megs, vSync is off etc etc. i like to tweak.

It sounds like you downloaded demo version 1. When you see the black screen press enter once and wait 1-5 minutes and the game should start.
