Need trustworthy Steam user
 

Hello, I'm not sure where this thread should go.

I was trying to buy CS (old one) from Steam using paypal and got "transaction wasn't authorized (or something like that) error". I don't even wanna start with Valve support, because it sucks.
So I was wondering, If I send you the money to your paypal, could somebody buy me the game?

Uh, I'm sure enough people here are trustworthy enough, but you shouldn't be so eager to give away money.

Don't you have real life friends whom you can beat up if they cheat you?

I'd be more suspicious of him rather than anyone else on here to be honest. I wouldn't trust someone with one post coming on here and asking someone to gift a game to them.

Most of my friends aren't gamers or they play WoW.

I'll send you the money up front, whats the problem?

It's prolly because my paypal is unverified. I get my money to my paypal by giving my email to spammers on survey sites.

But seriously people, I need that thing. I'm tired of crappy, full of hax0rs, no good non-steam servers.

Ill give you 14.01 (all I got) bucks for 10 (11.79 with tax) buck game.

Sounds pretty risky to me, for you and the person involved. Personally I don't deal with people or websites paying over the internet. I just don't have enough trust in anything, even in person when dealing with money I hesitate. I would only pay to certain websites I know 100% is trustworthy (ie Tiger Direct).

Sorry, but it looks like your out of luck, why not just go to your local tech store and pick it up?

I know it seems funny, but under FileFront's corporate policy, we're just not allowed to talk about it. Hell, we're not even allowed to talk about legitimate uses of P2P/BitTorrent software. :uhm:

So just be careful what you talk about. Try reading the FAQ for more details about that stuff.

As far as I know, the only free gifts I've seen were TF2, I still have one hanging around my Steam account.

I've seen one for HL Ep1 and HL 2. Not sure about CS1.6 though.

I've had gifts of a few things, when people got the Orange Box.

Still working on ep2 and tf2. =p
