Tourney Time! After discussion with you the sacgamers, both on our forums, VE's forums and the Poll we have decided on the tentative details for our next tournament (New Improved). The Tourney Will take place on Saturday the 23rd of June, at 10Pm GMT / 11Pm CET / 2Pm PST / 7am Australia. I think you'll agree this is probably the best time we can affix for such a global event. http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif The Tourney shall take place in 2vs2 form at a Min lvl 4 using straight gods. Everything about this tourney is open so we welcome any comments and suggestions. June23 sucks as a date, not only is it the day after diablo2 exp gets released but its 2 weeks away. what would be the possible reason to make it 2 weeks from now. |

Yes that is a very bad date. Not only is it the day after the diablo 2 x pak is realesed is exams for most Canadians. I know this sounds like a pathetic cry for help, but I think several of us would like to play in the tournament but don't have a teammate. I'd like to play now, since it's a lvl 4 tourney, but asking people in the lobby isn't exactly what I have in mind. Alas, if the tourney is on the 23rd I cannot possibly attend. The 23rd is my 3rd wedding anniversary. In a battle between wife and sac, wife wins every time. This shows a clear inbalance in the game. I have yet to witness sac ever defeating wife. Sure, it could be argued that the amount of micromanagement that wife requires offsets this strength, but I don't believe this to be true. Proof of inbalance can be seen in wife's anniversary spell, which renders all sac abilities useless for approximately 24 hours. The sheer power of this ability is somewhat offset by it's long reload of 1 year. However, an inbalance clearly exists that I hope Shiny will address in patch 4. Or the tourney could just be pushed back to the 30th. Please! |

does it have to be a saturday? from what i'm seeing, a lot of people are going to be on their summer (or winter in my case) breaks starting somewhere between the 23rd and the 30th or earlier. if most of the people who can't attend one or the other of these dates are going to be on their breaks in that week anyway, y not have the tourney on the wednesday or something like that?
