23rd is OK with me, though a couple days later would be best for me because I'm going to spend a lot of time studying for finals, which are coming up soon.

does it have to be a saturday? from what i'm seeing, a lot of people are going to be on their summer (or winter in my case) breaks starting somewhere between the 23rd and the 30th or earlier. if most of the people who can't attend one or the other of these dates are going to be on their breaks in that week anyway, y not have the tourney on the wednesday or something like that?

(BTW, i like the 23rd and not the 30th :P ... we should do a tally of which date is more popular)
