My map didnt make it in.. it was really well designed.. i spent well over 150 hours on it, and another 8 or 10 in-game testing. Anyways... Its Called "Peaks of Empyrea", i sent it to SacrificeCenter, So if ya want, grab it.. maybe someone will appreciate all the work that went into it... Big_Earn I HATE YOU SHINY! |

That is so BULL! i seen some of those maps and there so crap! and plain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have the worst gameplay! even thouh the one i sent in was only worked on for 10 min http://www.veforums.com/wink.gif it still had amazing gameplay and alright looks. screw all you slow people spending 10 hours and still making chessy maps. thats one bad thing about sacrifice maps there all looks not gameplay!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
my response to the maps i did play trinity:This map is well done except for one thing since it is circular the battles seem to carry on and on when i play it the battles last at least 1 hour-not that this is a bad thing but it does get repedative. Spiral Solaris: I agree with gabey the battles are concentrated to much in the center and the real thing of this map is the picture of wat it looks like, but it is a nice map depending on your tastes. Atlas Fallen: This map is generally good in most aspects apart from the look of the minimap pic. the battles can take anywhere and the detail is ok i guess. I just find it kinda barren. Cyclone: I dont really remember it but since i have really no reculection well ill just say cool. The team is devoting a lot of time to playing these maps, the team also devoted a lot of time to organising the competition, the sponsors, etc. - If it isn't appreciated then please let me know. - If your map wasn't selected ... better luck next time. - If your map was selected it was based on the criteria we outlined in the rules. Alright this is bugging me badly (im nto saying my maps were winner material, im just stating for the fact) Was it a factor if you had your parents and/or extended family enter the maps? I can remember idolater frequently stating that we should get a family member to enter our maps if we werent old enough. If this was an immediate factor, id like to know, since i did this. I read the rules quite a few times, and never did it state against this. Shiny, could you provide a little insight on this matter? Was this a factor in map disqualification? PS.
