It doesn't matter how good you are. It's a contest and rules are rules. I don't think we should make exeptions for anyone.
If you think it's not fair to get disqualified because you are not 18, read the Terms and conditions again : "Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to submit a Derivative Level ".
Read it again. You are breaking one of the rules of the contest. I didn't make them, Shiny did, and they are meant to be followed.
mwahahahahhahahaha,
all you fools pouring your hearts and sould into Scapex, all for trying to win a good computer.
Well it is all in vain!
My inside contact at Shiny has already "removed" the PC and it is currently en route to my home.
Mwahahahahahahahahahaha Its mine!!!!!!
P.S. j/k, I'm just bitter because my map didn't make it onto the list (most likely because I didn't make one )

More than meets the eyes,
Hoppy's in disguise!
Agreed Harry V.
Anybody who thinks otherwise should do a search and look at the original message.
I believe MissM also ratified the fact that an older family member would be able to enter someones map on their "unofficial" behalf.
The only manner you could be disqualified from the contest is if your map was not your intellectual property.
Rules are rules and shiny has already set them out.

You apparently still don't understand.
Shiny has made a suggestion, as a result it is not very likely to be breaking the rules they themselves set out.
The 18 age limit is not a limit on the author but instead a limit on the entrant following interplays legal requirements.
Excil is perfectly within his rights to the prize so long he has not lied. Which he has not.
Leave this topic alone as its totally within Shiny's domain. Considering he is already a finalist with several maps I would conclude they have already made their decision.
You're just being immature. What do you care if Excilus is under 18, the fact is he did a great map, and managed to enter the contest. Seriously, you are really acting as if you're jealous of him.
Excilus: I made the Battlefield map. Atleast I think I did, cause I haven't got any email notification. But I made a Battlefield map and that's for sure.
Is it all you can do, why did you tell me to shut up ; very smart indeed and so constructive ; obiously how you get rid of people who don't agree with you.
Anyway, I got that point all right before you told me; the problem here is that our little friend said clearly that he is under-aged, that someone else submited his maps, his father lied by entering the contest with maps what were not his own.
I don't actualy care wether he wins or not, I am not jealous, I didn't submit a map.I just said it wasn't fair on other people. The fact that someone else could enter the contest with other people maps was not stated in the terms and conditions. Rules are meant to be followed and they have not been followed.
Now if Shiny is on your side...
