maybe you are basing it on a screenshot that i posted a while ago? how are you going base an entire contest on one screen shot? its not like u look at the thing and you know its gameplay! i mean its gotten into the final 22 and out of all the maps entered it has to pretty special for shiny to list it... i didnt say anything about your maps because they have to be liked by someone to get up there

4 maps in the contest doesnt mean anything... you can only win once. yes you will say you have a better chance... maybe but they would take your best map out of the four and then compare to the rest so you are still getting the same chances as everyone else is

The team is devoting a lot of time to playing these maps, the team also devoted a lot of time to organising the competition, the sponsors, etc.

- If your map wasn't selected ... better luck next time.

- If your map was selected it was based on the criteria we outlined in the rules.

The decision rests with the team and is based on what WE like.

Also map for Q3 or Halflife or somthing then you will have a lot of fun.

Hes being quite rude and quite cocky, he's named all 4 of his maps that are in the contest, and we are all voting for the winner. Call it a hunch but I don't think he'll be gettin the computer.

Alright this is bugging me badly (im nto saying my maps were winner material, im just stating for the fact) Was it a factor if you had your parents and/or extended family enter the maps? I can remember idolater frequently stating that we should get a family member to enter our maps if we werent old enough. If this was an immediate factor, id like to know, since i did this. I read the rules quite a few times, and never did it state against this. Shiny, could you provide a little insight on this matter? Was this a factor in map disqualification?
