Yes, I checked, didn't see a thread about this.

Anyway, has anyone seen the new footage? If not, you can see it on GameTrailers. I'm personally excited about the whole Co-op thing, since I love RPG games more than any other type of game (Shooters coming in close second). And I always thought of the idea of bringing a friend into the lieu of things to be a grand experience.

My brother likes watching and all, but him playing with me would be a better experience for the two of us. It looked great to me. Opinions?

I love the original fable, but I don't have a 360 so I'm outta luck

The original Fable was a mediocre action-RPG. I hope Fable 2 will do better than that . .

I noticed the negativity toward the first Fable, but all the video's I've seen for this one have me stoked so far. It looks entertaining to say the least. Even more, it sounds like a time investor. A two player time investor.

I'm pretty impressed with the footage so far. I'm not sure about co-op though... i'd need more info before making a real judgement though. If everything Molenyoux (?) has been saying is true, then it should be a fantastic game. Hopefully, the game will be much bigger too (I mean at least 2-3 times the size of the original fable, which i'm sure it will be)

Yeah, sounds bigger.

They were talking about how every single thing in the game, every house, store, or item is purchasable. And all the while in the co-op vid, they were only running simulation based gameplay, they never dwelled into a scripted storyline.

I just hope, you can only hope.

So far from the look of it though, they are delivering. Its not like this is a super "must buy" for me, and I'm camping in front of Walmart for it. Just a game I'm considering getting. There are still tons of other games I don't have yet for my 360 that I'll buy before this.

It will be available for 360 only?? If it is that way than it sucks because the original Fable was available for pc also.

Well, you know how 360 exclusives go. The good ones always come to PC. Look at Mass Effect, PC version already coming. A list of other games that were Xbox exclusives that moved to PC.

Halo
Halo 2 (vista)
KOTOR
KOTOR2
Gears of War

The list goes on, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. As far as I'm concerned you just get a bit longer to wait, hearing how it is from actual people who played it.

From memory he does yes. A hell of a lot.

I just watched the GDC 08 footage on Fable 2, and I was impressed in terms of how the game has come along, graphics and overall really. However, the amount of time that guy took to explain something was so drawn out and slow it gave me the impression he was constantly holding it back. He really struggled to hold me attention for it...

Yeah, I think he was just trying to emphasize it more or something. Like really blow your mind, but more often than not you've read the new feature somewhere before seeing a video.

Not only that, but his voice waved in and out and gave me the impression he was losing focus. He spent a good part of the demo time standing around and making nonsense comments. Sure, some were mildly funny, but I'm willing to bet that a lot of the other devs and media present would have been interested in other things.

It`s only game where you can have a wife in every city. And in Fable 2 you can have kids... I`m really looking forward to the game :-)

I hope that rolling around won't make you untouchable like in the original fable.

Rolling plus bow and arrow = pwnage.

Not that anyone could actually fire a bow whilst rolling :lol:
