The grim reaper needs some new AI. He is as dumb as a rock. On the 9th Charnel lvl, I summoned him while Jadugarr was converting souls in the graveyard, and instead of killing his flurries, Death chased his sac-doctor across the entire map, until he faded away. For a mega spell, this seems really, really lame. Also, blocking Death with your wizard seems to stop him cold, and Marduk's Death falls for it every time.
P.S. Is it just me, or does blind rage suck really, really badly? Can't stack up to charm, bovine intervention or intestinal vaporization worth a damn. Volcano isn't too fly either. It requires insane timing, but worst of all, knowledge of where the ground is, which my 266 denies me. Ah well, at least I can see mana fountains through mountains.
Death seems to like Manahoars and Sac Doctors. That's because they rule. Run very fast little manahoar!
And yeah, the clipping thing makes it possible to beat Marduk, so why complain? Deaths main effect is to cause both players to teleport away and scream like schoolgirls. What's wrong with that?
As for Blind Rage, it does indeed suck in comparison to Charm or anything else. Charm because it is permanent and safer, the Gib spells because of their range and they gib, and Cloudkill because it kicks butt. But Volcano makes up for it. It is good on Guardianed manaliths, something none of the other spells, except Death, can claim. It destroys the manalith not just the Guardians, so it is better than Death in that respect. Also, Volcano is much safer than Death.
Assuming you can see the ground.
Blind rage is a powerful spell... you just use it differently than the other lvl 8 spells.
Its possibly the easiest way to decimate an enemies' rush. Its also a great offensive spell.
You do realize the blind rage has an area effect? Itll make all creatures within quite a large radius attack each other. Just attack after you cast it, and he cant possibly win.

Im sure of it, blind rage has an area affect. You target a creature, there is a red explosion once the hand hits the creature. Everything within a large radius around the creature becomes "enraged", you can tell because they have a red aura sparkling around them.
All enraged creatures cannot be issued commands, and will attack each other, or any other unit. Dont know how they decide what to attack.
