-ALERT- CPU Meltdown!

I speak to you a broken man.

My CPU burnt out mysteriously on sunday night, rendering me a IT paraplegic.

I hope to be back in business by the weekend with a shiny new Thunderbird 900mhz and new Mboard.
Problem is that came out of my NV20 funds

. Oh well I think I'll be watching Arnie films for the rest of the week.
Dont let patch 3 come out without me !!!!! j/k

no wot did you do? you had to of done something, last time mine burnt out it was because of overclocking it too much..(800 to a 1050) with a basic fan heheheh

Cheers guys.
This wouldn't be much of a problem if they still made Slot A Athlons but as it stands I have to replace a perfectly good motherboard with a Socket A one.

Anybody from the UK have an idea on how to recoup the money on this one?
BTW I never overclock my hardware to stop this very thing from happening! But all of a sudden my machine kept resetting itself. I thought it might be the switch (which is broken

) But even on unplugging it had no effect. Sometime later the CPU overheated and cut the machine out all together. (The heatsink had become partially detached from the CPU. I dont even know what the real problem is but I suspect it must be the cpu
Anyways I try to check back with the forums till the weekend.
