Well, we know now that the sequel is on the way. But the big question is... will you be abandoning GW for GW2 - throwing away all your hard work thus far - or will you strike a balance between both games, or is GW2 not the game for you?
Me? Mix of both. GW2 looks interesting, but I won't be jumping on the bandwagon as soon as it's out. Invested a lot of time and effort into my GW toons to just cast them aside.
Well i havent gotten that far with GW yet so i guess i probably will be playing more of GW2 but ofcourse i wont throw my accoutn away from GW. I mean if suddenly you had to pay monthly fees for GW2 or something like the game broke down for a couple hours. You could just go back to GW and play there. If you think of it now that there would be way less players there you could get all the dyes and everything for way less cash.
well... I am a stones throw away from finishing Eye of the north. I was soo disappointed in prophacies that i pulled my mesmer from it so i could level it in factions. Finished factions.... Finished Nightfall....
I would say at this point, before GW2 comes out, i will be finishing the game with 6 out of my 8 toons. Now by finishing i mean, each game with all 6.
When Gw2 comes out, i will be playing that. I can definitely say i have gotten my money's worth from GW.

I've beaten Proph with all 10 of my characters, beaten NF with all 10 and beaten Factions with 7. I have to say, just getting through NF felt like a job the 5th time through, and after beating it the 10th time, I don't even want to go back except to get a few quest rewards.
