*sniff* This thread is officially dead. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/violent085.gif

Anson992 October 11th, 2007 01:20 PM

NO it isn't, if my User CP would quit acting up I'd have saw your post from days ago.

Ya Boi Rajon October 12th, 2007 05:25 PM

Im back! I haven't been on in a very long time. WTF happened?!

Captain Fist October 12th, 2007 06:09 PM

Which one is the guy in that picture?

Ya Boi Rajon October 12th, 2007 11:27 PM

Which picture?

Anson992 October 13th, 2007 06:58 AM

That pic has, from left to right, Yazoo, Kadaj, Loz, and Cloud.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 05:52 PM

So, how funny do you guys think the pic was?

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:25 PM

Pretty Funny!

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:25 PM

Yay, i didn't have to wait another five days for a comment. WOO HOO!

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:27 PM

I respond very quick if im online.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:30 PM

Well, that's a relief. I just realized my question about whether or not chocobos have been in all of the Final Fantasy games. Do you know Rajon?

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:32 PM

I think they were introduced in FF3.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:32 PM

So, from then on they've been in every single one?

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:33 PM

I believe so.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:35 PM

Cool. It's interesting how they found a way to incorporate it in all of them. However, i didn't find them to be as much of a necessity on FF8 as they were in FF7. As far as i know, all they did in 8 was to help you do some incredibly boring and lengthy side-quest.

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:36 PM

I hated those side-quest! But someone had to do em'!

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:40 PM

I doubt anyone bothered, and then there was that STUPID CARD GAME THING. The most USELESS thing in ANY game.

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:41 PM

I played the card game once and that was it. I had enough.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:43 PM

It was ridiculous. The only thing i used the cards for was to trnsform them into items. I mean, the rules were so unclear, and how they were always changing. That and the fact that there wasn't enough info on all the different rules.

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:44 PM

They basically gave you some cards and said "PLAY".

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:46 PM

LOL, exactly. Yopu ask to play with someone. And they say something like "Let's play with Galbadia's rules and ours." I would just sit there and be like Ok, and what exactly are Galbadia's rules and ours? I think they had a good idea with it, it's just that they gave poor info regarding how to do it.

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:48 PM

You couldn't have said it better.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:50 PM

No, i could have blabbed about how much i hated it for hours, but i didn't want to torture you with mindless babble. For a change of topic, how tough do you think the second battle with Edae was? Personally, when i started out, i thought it was a little too tough at the time. Maelstrom was annoying, and the fact that she could cast Death just wasn't fair.

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:51 PM

When I first played through the game, both of those battles were difficult.

BMANN1019 October 16th, 2007 06:52 PM

Could you be a bit more specific? And i said one fight, which other are you talking about? The first one with Edea?

Ya Boi Rajon October 16th, 2007 06:56 PM

The one with Edea & Seifer right?

BMANN1019 October 17th, 2007 10:22 AM

Well, in the first disc, there is a fight where you go against seifer, and then when you beat him, you fight edea for the first time. Later, on disc two during the battle between balamb and galbadia gardens, you fight seifer, and then shortly after you do another that has seifer (wounded), along with edea, although she only starts fighting once seifer is disposed of.

nazoa93 October 17th, 2007 10:25 AM

ive only watched my friend beat sephiroth which was awsome, and ive seen the movie which was awsome........

BMANN1019 October 17th, 2007 10:26 AM

K, what did you really like about the movie?

Anson992 October 17th, 2007 03:30 PM

I thought all of the above was awesome!

Ya Boi Rajon October 17th, 2007 05:25 PM

Me too!

BMANN1019 October 18th, 2007 11:18 AM

^^Huh?

BMANN1019 November 13th, 2007 05:37 PM

May This Thread Be Revived And Never Die Again!

Anson992 November 13th, 2007 06:54 PM

Its gonna happen one day, we might as well accept it.

BMANN1019 November 14th, 2007 01:11 PM

Yh, i know. Whatever, Final Fantasy still kicks ass.

Ya Boi Rajon November 20th, 2007 11:14 AM

Im Back!

No, that picture brought back memories! :( I hope that someday there's a remake.

On another note, how long do you think it would take, with the proper software (if such software exists) to create a couple of scenes for a game in the same style as FFVII? I'd put it at about a year, making FFVII itself must've taken hundreds of thousands of man-hours.

Re: The Ff7 Thread!

Sorry for the double post, but I've found something to do with FF7 which really deserves a mention:

Home - Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream, An OverClocked ReMix Album

Quote:

Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream is an OverClocked ReMix Album featuring free fan arrangements from the soundtrack to Square's legendary Final Fantasy VII for the Sony Playstation. From jazz to techno to rock to classical, it features over forty five tracks from over forty artists, each interpreting composer Nobuo Uematsu's works in their own unique style.
It's completely free and the torrent is available here (note, a .wav version of each track is included in the torrent, it's better if you only select the .mp3 versions for download to save time downloading): http://bt.ocremix.org/files/Final_Fantasy_VII_-_Voices_of_the_Lifestream.torrent

I think they actually managed to improve on some of the originals as well as completely change the feel of others, without compromising on the quality of the music. The remix of On Our Way ("Ahead On Our Rave") is probably my favourite.

Re: The Ff7 Thread!

Well I have dled an assortment of FF remixes, and I have to say taht remixing most of the songs, but keeping the feel wouldn't be as hard.
