Wow, did you get that wrong. Cloud never was in SOLDIER, but his friend Zack was. In the game Cloud even stated that he had mixed up the stories his friend Zack told him with stuff he had seen, hence the rather jumbled up memory. And he was a clone, which Hojo also stated, but noted that Cloud was a failed experiment. But yh, you are right about the fact that it was her head (or what was left of it, Rufus nailed that thing)

My big FF7 question was if all of Clouds story was messed up, why the fuck didn't Tifa remember anything? I know she got sliced, but rarely does that result in memory lost.

when ever hojo says hes a clone hes talking about being a perfect solider like seph a clone in that sense not a clone as it same person. and getting showered in mako is standard procedure for solider not janova cells. cloud got those when he was in the mako tank 1 to save his live and 2 to try and make him like seph. Also tifa dose remember she says she went along with it in fear of making cloud go away if she reviled the truth. she tells you that after seph shows everyone zach.

There are 2 types of 'Clones' in FF7… Sephiroth Clones, and Jenova Clones. Jenova Clones were the first Clones created… Sephiroth himself is one… Which hints that all the Jenova Clones were cloned from birth (If there are more than just Sephiroth)
The Sephiroth Clones were created after Cloud threw Sephiroth over the bridge in Mt. Nibel… If I remember correctly, these Clones are the ones with the tattoos. All the clones with tattoos are clearly much older than 5, which proves that they were not created from birth after the events in Mt. Nibel. Think about it, Cloud was in a tube in Nibelheim for 5 years… Why? Simple, Hojo was making him into a Sephiroth Clone… Hojo saved Cloud… But he changed him forever. Cloud didn't complete the Cloning procedure; he escaped with Zack before Hojo finished. This explains why Cloud doesn't wear a black cape, and why Cloud doesn't have a tattoo… " I just copied all that from a site on google, i think that pretty much sums it up.

Yeah, I know..... getting a little mixed up. I remembered all that except the Tifa part. I recall her going back with Cloud once he washed up in that town on disc 2, and I remember him apologizing to his gang once he got himself back, I just didn't remember what Tifa said.

I loved Tifa's slap fight.

Yeah that one.... there are plenty of moments in FF7 that just made me explode in laughter.

Well, that's why the game was so enjoyable. It had a good balance of action, romance, and comedy. Not to mention a fricking awesome storyline.

The storyline was great, and if they re-made the game I would want the storyline completely in tact. Nothing changing about that.

Well, i don't know about that. You know, i kinda wish they would have brought back Aeris like they had planned. It would require a lot of configuration, but hey, it would be nice to get a chance to use all of her good limit breaks when you really need them. Plus, i never really used her that much, and then afetr she died, i was kind of regreting the fact that i never used her. Makes me sad......

Are you serious?! What a bummer, i thought they actually were planning on remaking with better graphics, that really sucks. And witht hat whole aeris, i don't really think she NEEDED to die in order for the White Materia to work. It was just annoying that the best healer got killed with no way to get her back, which i believe they were planning on doing originally, seeing as how there are multiple points in the game where you can see Aeris was meant to be there.

Look man, her dieing was the drama. We have to get over it. There are rumored ways of getting her back.... I think 1 being to beat the weapons without KOTR but I'm not sure, only rumors, or maybe they are true.

I seen the Tech Demo way back when it first released. Someone should've mailed Sony and Square with a letter....

lol, ain't that the truth. But yh, anything you hear about getting her back is all a bunch of bull, at least for the american version, i'm not sure about the japanese version. At one point, i heard there was a way to get Zack, but it turned out to be totally wrong.

There are a bunch of cheesy things that can be done on their. There is supposed to be a way to add Sephiroth to your party, a baby Red XIII to your party, 2 clones of Cloud to your party.... and re-add her to your party. Alas, I never tried any, since my first time I beat it I agreed with myself that it would be completely legit.

The only things like I ever headr was that you could get Sephiroth, Aeris, and Zack into your party, all of which, without something like a gameshark, were lies.

I really wish I could find my GameShark now....

I remembered there was a code for aerith to appear again and u can use her till the end of the game. Anyway, cant wait for crisis core !!

I finally saw Last Order.... I was wondering where everyone else had seen it, just like I was with Advent Children.... I just wanna see it in English.... so I don't have to sit and read, I can just watch the action.

no code just in like the 4th disk if you found the key to midgar you can go back to the church and you'll see her ghost walking around but if you get to close shell look shocked and then dissapeare, and the kids will say stuff like where'd the flower lady go and shell never come back at that point.

FF7 had three, 8 had 4. And yes, i have seen the ghost before.

Yeah, your right BMAN. I went to dig up the key of Midgar back at that place, got Tifa's Ultimate weap in Wall Market, but I don't recall seeing Areis's ghost.

I saw it for like a split second, and then she vanished, the minute you enter the church, i recommend just not moving, maybe then she'll appear.

That sucks, and now I do remember seeing her, its bogus they did us like that! I'm glad I already watched my dad play, and knew she was gonna die, so I used her alot.

I did quite the opposite. See, i had heard rumors before i played it that she did, so i chose not to use her. PLus, i wasn't a big fan of defensive-based limit breaks at the time. Then when she died, i was sorta happy that all the training i would have put her through didn't go to waste. Now however, i kind of wish i had played with her just to see how beneficial she would have been.

Oh, she has great benifits. Like I always use her when fighting the SteamRoller at the end of the highway, because once he hit everyone, I got 2 Limits to kick his ass, and 1 to heal us all halfway so I can go for awhile without curing, spending more time on Offense.

Naw, not me, she cured better than cure 1. Maybe once you got restore 2 she became optional, but I always equipped her with the restore, didn't it work better with her or something?

You can easily edit Aerith back into the PC version of the game with a patch. You can do plenty of other stuff too, I imagine you can find the patch packs on the Pirate Bay or something.

Well, I have a Gamepad for PC, so it wouldn't be that bad for me! Aside from the PC also being able to get higher resolutions.

Yeah, game pads won't be bad, in fact they have a few out there that are Playstation Style, so to eash his own.

But I still vastly prefer the base FF7 on PS reather than PC. One, the PC gets Midi's, which suck, while to original PS score is great for its time.

I'm pissed, apparently my old sig was too big, and i had to get rid of it. And i liked it! Oh, well. Yh, the MIDI quality is just terrible. Why did they even have to make them with such terrible quality like that?

I have no idea, I think most PC's at the time could handle the original music files.

Love FF7 - best game ever made imho.

Amazing story, characters and music. Basically it's got everything a game should have. Have played and completed it many times but still have not opened up all it's boxes i.e Ruby and Emerald Weapon, Golden Chocobo and KOTR. So stillgot much enjoyment to have out of it.

Sephiroth is still the best bad guy ever. Sucked a little in AC I must admit.

Loved the names of Stuff like the Sister Ray, Buster Sword (I want one of these) and the Calamity from the Skys. All the Mako stuff.

Just love it and want to hug it and make it doughnuts.

FF8 is pretty cool to but FF9 with Zidane sucked hairy shrew balls.
