Well, that's good. Where do you work?

Anson992 September 24th, 2007 05:52 PM

I work at "I go to "High School." I might be a lifeguard this year at the pool. But mostly saving my scraps, small money my mom gives me sometimes....

Can someone tell me what FF game has it where your Gaurdian Forces lose life points?

I don't know which one it is, it wasn't nine was it?

You're thinking of FFVIII.

FFIX's Eidolons were standard summoning spells - they called the creature, creature attacked with a bitchin' animation sequence, then went home. Same mechanic as II, V, VI and VII.

FFVIII's Guardian Forces worked the same way, only they had a seperate ATB bar for charging up. While the GF is charging, they protect the summoning character with a seperate HP bar. An "armor" bar, if you will.

FFX's Aeons were actually seperate characters called to the battlefield to take the place of the party members and fight instead.

I'll have to play FF8 again by the look of it.

I cannie remember that ... HURRAH!!! More Final Fantasy for me!!

How many FF are there ?:Puzzled:

Mikouen September 25th, 2007 04:16 AM

Numbered? 13. More, actually, because FFXIII is actually a subseries consisting of multiple games. Also, FFXI (the MMORPG) has three expansion packs released.

Non-numbered, spin-offs and side games? Here's a full list of 'em, released and unreleased:
- Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (aka Final Fantasy USA), SNES
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Gamecube
- Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus, PS2
- Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus -Lost Episode-, cellphone (Japan only)
- Before Crisis: Final Fantasy 7, cellphone (Japan only)
- Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, PSP
- Final Fantasy Tactics, PS
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, GBA
- Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, DS
- Chocobo de Mobile, cellphone (Japan)
- Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, DS
- Final Fantasy Legend I/II/III (aka Final Fantasy Gaiden), Gameboy
- Chocobo's Dungeon, PS (Japan)
- Chocobo's Dungeon 2, PS
- Chocobo Racing, PS
- Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
- Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
- Chocobo Stallion, PS (Japan)
- Hataraku Chocobo, WonderSwan
- Chocobo's Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time, Wii
- Choco-Mate, cellphone (Japan)
- Dice de Chocobo, PS (Japan)
- Final Fantasy Unlimited on PC Adventure - Labyrinth, Windows
- Dissidia: Final Fantasy, PSP
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, DS
- Final Fantasy VII Snowboarding, cellphone
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Wii
- Final Fantasy: Unlimited with U, cellphone (Japan)

There's also four movies, a 25-episode anime series, about a dozen novels/mangas, three radio dramas, six remakes of older FFs for GBA (including the only US/Europe release of FFIII), several compilation releases, strategy guides for every console game to be released in the US, and obviously soundtracks to go with all the games and two of the movies.

(WAY too much free time... Yuppers... >_> )

World in Conflict September 25th, 2007 04:23 AM
