What is wrong with you people! You claim that this game goes against Christianity, then why in the hell are you playing it. And no bs about "I just wanted to see what it was like". It's because of idiots like you that Christians like me get such a bad image. We do not live in a world free of peace and violence, so why blind ourselves and try to pretend that we do? If you want peace, do us all a favor and step in front of a bus. Thank you.

Aggressor, I don't quite no what you mean by your post. I'm a Christian too and I don't have any problems about playing Messiah, God isn't boring, he wants us to enjoy ourselves.
If this involves playing computer games then so be it. I think it is a descision between you and God about what games you play and what games you don't. Personnaly, I enjoy Messiah, and don't think it spoils my relationship with God at all. All you have to remember is, Jesus is sitting playing any game with you, having a laugh as you shoot zombies in the head! He gave us a sense of humour! Let's use it! If you think that a game you are playing is offending to Jesus,
you may have spent money on it, but you must be prepared to sacrifice things, even if you enjoy them, so as not to hinder your relationship with him.

I think God wants you to help others and be there when they need you and accept other people's errors.

I don't think God wants you to give **** to Shiny or anything else. Some people in the world are dying because they cannot afford food. Some people in the world are dying because of war. Some people in the world are dying because of injustice. We, here, mostly spend our times entertaining ourselves and getting upset because of bugs in video games or because there's nothing good on TV and superficial stuff like that.

If we were to unite and begin to spend some of our precious worhtless time here to help the entire world to get back on its feet, we would be having a much more beautiful way of living being at peace with ourselves.

Yes, my friend, what you say is true, but instead of complaining about how we entertain ourselves and we should start thinking about those in need...consider the fact that we CAN entertain oursleves and we CAN complain about bugs because God, our loving father, has blessed us materially. But he doesn't want us to ABUSE this blessing but rather to USE it! We should be prepared to give WHAT WE CAN to help the poor. You must realise that God does look down on us because we enjoy ourselves and others are suffering. He knows how they suffer. He's been through it! When Jesus died on the cross he went through more suffering than you can imagine. Beaten, whipped, starved, mocked, spat-on and left hanging on a plank of wood with nails through is wrists and ankles, left out in the hot sun for ours to bleed and suffer in pain. And he went through with it! Remember, he was GOD! He could have destroyed them all! But because he loved us so much he went through with it! It wasn't easy for him! He amy have been God but he was a man, therefore inheriting all man's attributes - including fear! But he knew to complete his mission he would HAVE to die. He was the real MESSIAH (Saviour). Now I'm going to heaven when I die- because he did that!

My point is - we can have fun! We were given humour and enjoyment as gifts from God! We were made in his image...which means we inherit some of him...his humour and his excitment. Humanity has twisted this humour, but originally it's from God.
Like I say, a game with religion in is not a bad game. It's not real! God ISN'T going to send a little kid with wings to save the world! He's going to send Jesus back to earth...but this time not to die...TO RULE AND CONQUER! Then people will see he is the MESSIAH! If the game 'Messiah' was about Jesus coming back and being mortal and getting killed by Satan, or mocking Jesus in any other way, I wouldn't buy it!

The fact is, it's not. It's not real, it's a laugh! It's fun! I play Messiah with a clean concience knowing that Jesus is playing it with me and he is not offended by this game at all. Some Christians may find this game unsuitable, it's up to each one to sort it out with God. My opinion is that God's OK with me playing Messiah, and I'm OK playing it with him.

Jesus is my best mate...we play computer games together and we have fun!

As for burning in Hell, hell isn't firey, hell is seperation from God! And since you're already (Quite obviously) seperated from God, it won't be much different from the world as it is today except there won't be any nice people like us Christians there, we'll all be partying in heaven. Basically, it'll be a miserable existance with no hope for a better life because it's eternal.

Sorry mate, get your head screwed on straight, we don't want you to go to hell, and neither does God, but you in your selfish, human way have rejected him. It's a shame people like you never listen to good advice!

Hey Leviathan... nice name. What are you referencing? By the way are you in any way affiliated with the WAY ministry? Trying to reason with worldly babblings is truely an act of futility. People should watch what they say. Thank God we live in a country that allow such expression. Fortunately the law of the land is secondary to my heavenly father. I can only pray that the twisted views of my generation and those in bondage to them may be released from those views. I enjoy playing Messiah, I don't feel I am committing a sin because my fellowship with God is unaffected. I know that like all things done in excess, there is the concern that these things may take precedence over time that should be devoted to God. We can serve only one master and that should be our father in heaven. Let us take seriously the salvation God has wrought through his son,Jesus Christ, by raising him from the dead on that third day. BE thankful for his loving kindness. Don't tempt the adversary with your mouth... you may be very sorry. He is the author of destruction. Hi, I'm Leviathan, just changed my name to Behemoth...

Leviathan and Behemoth are both creatures mentioned by God in the book of Job. Mr. Scythe, I like your attitude to God but no I'm not part of the WAY whatever that stuff may be. I'm an evangelical christian and believe that God has called me to be a witness to you people over the internet. Preacherman is crazy...I feel sorry for him that his views are so based around phyiscal and material pleasure. What he describes in Hell are only on Earth...you can't take them to Hell. Hell is an indescribable place of misery where there is no chance to repent and turn to God, here on earth though, society is twisted and Satan is king of this place, but we know we have a hope in heaven.

THANK GOD FOR COMPUTER GAMES! THANK HIM FOR MESSIAH! THANK HIM THAT HE GAVE PEOPLE LIKE SHINY CREATIVE TALENTS SO THAT THEY MAY CREATE COMPUTER GAMES THAT WE CAN ENJOY!

Oy vey. I really wish people would stop taking religion so seriously. Religion was created to serve 3 purposes (in random order):

1.) to control people
2.) to teach people
3.) to explain things that are beyond human comprehension (a list that is gradually decreasing thanks to science)

If you want to put lots of faith in your religion there's nothing wrong with that, but please don't criticize others that have different beliefs. I also wish people would stop trying to convince others that one religion is better than another; it's rather hypocritical to preach tolerance and then tell others that their beliefs are incorrect and try to convert them to your religion.

If you constantly look for things to be offended by, you'll have a much harder time enjoying life. Don't take things personally and learn to ignore people and things that bother you.

I'm not trying to say it is better than others, I'm trying to help you guys see that it is the truth. I want you to go to heaven. So does your loving Father. Non-believers are like rebellious teenagers trying to escape their parents. They try to escape God even though he loves them so much.
Science is something MAN created to explain what he did not want to believe. Religion is useless talk and worshipping false things. No real Christian is religious - it is a matter of true faith. I know you people hate me and think I'm wrong but I want us ALL to go back to where the world was before it became corrupt...heaven. I want to walk in Eden without the thought of any strife or problems at all. I want you people to come with me, cuz when I die, that's EXACTLY where I'm going.
