A Little Help on the Lag
 

For you 56kers (or even Cable\DSL) who experience lag a lot of the time when playing Sacrifice or another game, this just might help ya lower your ping, if not solve your problem. I hope this helps with some of your lag problems or connection (note: Use At Your Own Risk):

I would gladly pay over a $100+/mo to be able to have cable or dsl. I live just outside the range, they tell me. They're expanding, they tell me.

I've been listening to this for almost 2 years, since one of my friends called me from accross town to gloat about his fancy dancy new DSL connection.

Where's illuminatus? He needs this, I remember his ping being somewhere in the thousands. Way way up there, is it only compatible with 56k/Cable/DSL, let's hope he has one of those

these guys have got all kind of nify tools for us with DSL or cable. They set me up nice and pretty.

Go to tools(sidebar) and then go to tweak tests.

"Cable modem" can be three words. Modem is an abbreviation for modulator demodulator or something to that effect.

Your download speed : 486513 bps, or 486 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 59.3 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 82815 bps, or 82 kbps.

Damn Verizon with 640/90 and they don't even deliver that...
