I got that stuck-by-the-rock thing too. But watched it again. Same thing. I'm hoping if I wait a while, it will magically fix itself http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif

Bah...I could release a bug fix because I've figured out something that will prevent it from happening but it barely happens that much anyway, and this cutscene is 2 months old. http://www.veforums.com/redface.gif

Kafka: lower the texture resolution [medium], restart the game...and then start the cutscene...

Jesta March 4th, 2001 07:29 AM

Nope, Idolater, he's not talking about a video card lockup like on technodrill's map.

He's talking about a rare bug that I am aware of which occurs where the Troll gets stuck by a rock while on his way to attack the Sylph's last pack of bodyguards before confronting her.

The game just sort of sits there since the Troll is unable to complete the next trigger (to kill all the Sylphs).

Well, actually, the trigger didn't go wrong, it turns out to be a rare bad pathfinding bug that sometimes occurs.

Oh well. Doesn't come up very often so consider it bad luck if it happens. You can try dropping the resolution a little, but it shouldn't make a difference.
