Looking for a new PC Game

Just looking for some recommendations here - I went into my local electronics store a few days ago and was looking for a nice new (not "new" as in recently released mind you) PC game but wasn't too satisfied despite the wide selection.

So, anyone got any good recommendations for me?

Things to consider:
- Price doesn't matter too much but I'd like to pick something up no more expensive then say...40 bucks at the most
- My fav kinda games are well made RTSs, military strategy games (like the TW series), FPSs, WWII games, and sometimes RPG games
- I own all the TW games and all the CODs so those are out

¬ Age of Empires III.
¬ Rise of Nations.
¬ Brother in Arms.

Some good games there.

Well, I recommend the battlefield series. Pick 1942 for strategy, WW2 and FPS, but I went for the latest version, 2142 which is all high-tech and battlewalkers. Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2142 Downloads - FileFront.com has the details, it's shiny.

If you haven't already, try out Halo. Apparently it's not as good as on the Xbox (I wouldn't be able to tell as I only have it on the PC) but it truly is a brilliant game. If the gameplay doesn't catch you, the stirring music certainly will.

You might also want to look into the Dawn of War (Warhammer 40K universe) collection of games. The stock game and first exp. pack are very good and whilst the content in the second exp. pack is also very strong, I personally feel that some of the restrictions brought in reduced some of the fun of it all. The second exp. also merges the RTS with a bit of military strategy with a world map overview.

Of the three, I'd go in order of Halo, Battlefield and Dawn of War.

By no means is Guild Wars a good rpg..
Its an MMORPG and those are just bad the only RPGing you do is level up your stats. Try Fallout 1 or 2, im crazy about those games.
