Dawn of War. More brutal, more alive, more . . interesting. Not so many flashy effects, that game is 100% Awesome.

DoW can go to hell, C&C is leagues better. DoW is just something different, but I don't feel like playing it all the time and it is not an in-depth game, it's a damn fast paced "Build Your base fast, rush rush rush" kind of game. Nothing deep in that, just lameness. And then theres the inconsistency of units, where one unit in one game will kill tons of units before dying and in another game it dies in mere seconds. The DoW community is a bunch of idiots anyways, all insulting each other and not hosting any games and just bitching in the lobby how they should've won the last game. I always want to go back to playing C&C, even the older ones like TS, RA, and Generals. Besides, C&C has Kane and that's reason enough.

I'm undecided.

C&C is no doubt a classic, and has strove for long before DoW was even on the drawing boards. From the original days of C&C, and then Red Alert. Back in the days, they were the best RTS games avaliable, and with no competition.

DoW is around the same as Generals, though for me, DoW is more fun. Generals is too slow, and for me, gets quite boring after a single game (or half way through it, in which case I save and quit).

Dawn of War I could have game after game. Granted I'd get bored after a while, but I'd get bored of C&C quicker. Needless to say, I await the release of both: Tiberium Wars, and whatever else Relic Entertainment has in store for the DoW franchise.

You just said how much you hated Dawn of War, and not how good C&C is. How can you have so much spite for a game anyway? What are your standards? The game is fun; I don't see where your coming from. It certainly has more life, instead of Blindly performing the animation, the units actually look like their fighting, with a brutal Kill at the end to finish it off.

Fast Paced doesn't mean shit, it just means it's fast-paced. Since when does that mean it lakes Depth? The Game is set in a fast paced Universe, what do you expect?

Not really. W40k battles can last years. But DoW is more fun, IMO. Very Reminiscent of the StarCraft series. And while MultiPlayer is a rush-fest, the campaign takes thought and strategy, with the limited units you can have, etc.

Dawn of war more tactical the Units more interesting (killing animations are a blast) and more infantry oriented than c&c more races with having different personality tactics-wise and looks, and most of all midrange-friendly unlike the new c&c which requires you to have a buttload of ram and the latest alphabhet soup graphics accelerator card just to get the complete experience,

Actually the latest CNC has one of the best hardware friendly engines Ive ever seen. EA made excellent use of the SAGE engine allowing a lot of people with low to mid end machines to play the game moderately well.

On one of my older computer (2.0GHz CPU, 512ram, and a 5600FX 128mb) I can run the game on mostly medium / low without any interruption. Although, that machine is slightly over clocked, wouldn't make much difference though.
