FPP, WW2 and playing as a German
 

Hiello. I was wondering if there's any FPP about WW2 where you can play as Wermacht soldier. I'm not taking about games like FH or ET, but games with storyline - like Call Of Duty. I've got enough playing as a ally shooting Germans or Japanese!!!
BTW. Why even in such realistic games like CoD or MoH, Wermacht soldiers are shown as:evil, wild beasts, dirty and stupid Quake-like creatures?? Since Wolfenstein 3D not much has changed in that manner :] :] It would be great to play Barbarossa Campaign, Fall Gelb, Fall Weiss or in Tobruk (shooting "yankees")...

I dont know any FPS games like that but you can take on a role of Russia, the US, and German in a game called "1944: Battle of the Bulge". Its a great game, theres a demo somewhere around here.

Unless you only play FPS-games there are a number of nice strategy-games that allow you to play German campaigns. The Panzer-General-series, for example.

Yes, I konow about PG. But if I play I play only FPP :) But I heard about special version of PG with more in-game reality...

I do not know of any story lines with german soldiers starring.
Online is about as far as it gets. The best online german support i've seen is in Red Orchestra.

The German Front mod plans to create a campaign set around Normandy 1944 where you play as a German soldier. I look forward to playing it, as it I believe will be the first of its kind on such a scale.
