Well, some guy acused me of cheating today
 

Ok it was a ffa and i killed one guy, and soon after he killed the other....so a 1 on 1 with alot of souls. We duke it out and im losing really bad, so i step behind some cover and build counters. This ****ssses him off, and he starts collecting his corpes. So being a dumbasss as he is, he casts soul wind on a seraph, and it gibs it, i take it and he says I was cheating because I stole it. I tried to explain it to him, but he didnt get it. So after that we fought a while, and he ended up quiting.

So, my real question, is it possible to cheat in muliti-player?
If it is possible that really sux.

it is not possible to cheat online.
but weird things can happen because of the lag, such as not being able to kill creatures, wizards can't be touched/killed, the manalith chanting never stops, the sacdoctor can't pull out the red soul to convert, etc... http://www.veforums.com/wink.gif

don't listen to them it-was-only-lag people People do hack and use cheat programs in MP I have seen it. It wasn't lag I know it wasn't lag. I have seen lag, this wasn't lag. It is possible to cheat... but Ive played hundreds of games and have seen only one cheater, who was using an infinite soul cheat.

I believe it's only possible to cheat in the orginal version of Sacrifice with no patches. I found some at Sacrifice Center, if you'd be as kind to go look at it and then use the cheats. You'll see it'll set you back a few patches once used.

ok ill admit it was me who accused u

and it wasnt about the seraph it was about a netherfiend that was right next to me

soul wind takes 5 seconds to gib a target and i cast it on the netherfiend right next to me
after 1 sec the souls suddenly disappeared and i know soul wind didnt gib them b/c the body disappeared like the souls were grabbed b/c the blue smoke or whatever made the body disappear and it made the sound

I know it wasnt gibbed cause then the body would be totally destroyed and blood would splatter

I dont know what happen but since the souls were right next to me i guesws i could of grabbed them

I'm sorry for accusing u of cheatin but i was ****ed

Ohh and that was a good game though
