Elite Player Multiplayer Orgy -e |
Why only limit it to the "Elite" as you call them? You were once a newbie also. paks ------------------ "Only fools are quoted." -Anonymus |
I think he refers to becomming better by playing equal/better enemies... ------------------ SW-FuSiL ~~~Webmaster and Clan-Leader of Sacrifice Warfare~~~ IRC: #Warfare @irc.enterthegame.com E-Mail: carlos.rahlwes@gmx.de |

I see what your saying, That's a good idea. I'd be there (If I'm elite enough). It should be invitation only. |
The people invited at the moment: Excilus MadHatter Shaktine SoulVandal Mm-_- SomeGirl Ekti Gabeybaby Fireborn Burncrisis ChickenHead Fusil Illuminatus Joshua Demos Evildan Am I missing anyone? |
Well thanks very much. I've never considered myself an Elite Player but I'll definitely be there. GMT 6pm for any Europeans on that list. Perhaps this is the first sign of a regular event http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif /me runs off for more practice I dont see StefanIII name there? [This message has been edited by illuminatus (edited 03-02-2001).] |
You know, Evildan isn't much of a fighter. He rushes and loses. That's pretty much his strategy |
Oh yes, I hope that you enter in my best player Incarnate. Heh, is it 2vs2's or 1vs1's? BTW, thanks for the invitation Excilus, just don't make future remarks about MY GAMING or I'll swipe ya clean 90 matches in a row. Symbiosis Bob is also a good player, hey, in this orgy thing is my name above SomeGirl's? Man you have a sick mind j/k |
OK, I understand, so I'm not invited am I? http://www.veforums.com/frown.gif |
Bah. |
Why does this sound like a really stupid idea? Like paks said, why limit it? If you're tired of playing new/bad players, don't play them. This community is small enough that it's very easy to know the good players. You complain about playing against bad players? If they're that bad (and you're that good), it should only take a few minutes to desecrate them. If the good players aren't willing to play with the new, less experienced players, how are they going to get better? The best way to get good competition is to teach new players better ways to play. This whole idea seems counter-productive for the reason behind it. If you want better opponents, teach some of these eager new players a few of your tricks. I for one, will not be showing up to this (but then I wasn't invited, was I?). How about, instead of all the good players getting on at once and playing each other, they get on and show new players better ways to play? That way, the community grows and the level of play increases, which is what everyone wants, isn't it? I'm gonna say it once again, simply because this idea is very counter-productive to the sacrifice community: BAD IDEA |
Hey Excilss! I have played against you before a few weeks ago in a 2on2 and you did retty bad. Your clan member the S person --well I dont remember his name-- told me you were having "sme bad days" but I have never played you since then so I dont kniow if you are better or not. ButI dont see how you can be the person who will judge who is elite and who isnt because no offense but last time I was in a game with you you didnt play in a style that I would consider elite. Maybe you have gotten better since then but I dont see why you should be saying who is the elite and who isnt. Very rude of you I think. On that post about best player, I beat one of the guys who was mentioned in an FFA and he had double my souls so does that mean I am the best player? Hell no. I lose and win evenly everyday. I know of at least 10 more people who are great and you dont have them on there. I consider myself pretty good but could be better at times. What I am trying to say is I dont think its right that you can sit here and post who you think is elite and who isnt. ------------------ Glooommy days.... |
This forum makes me sick at times. |
I have beaten Excilus one hundred times, consecutively. (He probably does not remember but that is proof that I have.) |
Errr.... First, I am happy to be invited but itīs a bad time for me... http://www.veforums.com/frown.gif Second, you people here complain about people who want a challenge. And you say "If you donīt want to play newbies then donīt play them" ... thatīs what this is about... and itīs just an event where the more fanatic players meet. This could also be turned the other way ( newbie-festivals?)... not that SW would be planning something like this http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif ------------------ SW-FuSiL ~~~Webmaster and Clan-Leader of Sacrifice Warfare~~~ IRC: #Warfare @irc.enterthegame.com E-Mail: carlos.rahlwes@gmx.de |
sorry choopy, they want ppl of the same skill, they don't want to continually get spanked. maybe in a bit when they have the elite elite matchups you'll get invited. http://www.veforums.com/wink.gif |
Ok He just wants to play a few games with the people he knows. Is that so bad? Think of it as a passworded game, do you moan about that? Perhaps hes wrong about the elite stuff but he's just organising a little match up, don't start looking to far into it. Everyone has the right to make an invitation only game! P.s Excil cant be expected to know every single decent player out there, he's just listing the ones he knows. Now stop being drama queens http://www.veforums.com/frown.gif [This message has been edited by illuminatus (edited 03-02-2001).] |
I think its a damned fine idea!! Wanna get invited, build the rep. Nothing wrong with that. It's not like those that are not invited can't find a game in skirmish. Hey, elites, let us know how it goes. Perhaps keep score. I'd like to know who comes out on top (in no way a reference to the "orgy" theme, hehe). Good luck all, and WAR HARD! |
*sigs* The Dialectic...Even in video games... |
LOL, Breath man, it's not that bad. Low on meds? |
LOL...well, I'm having a tournament where everyone is invited but the little gay losers. Guess most of you guys aren't invited. Sorry, but I'm special, well only in the little Sacrifice world...not the real world, but I have to draw the line somewhere. Omg, I can't quit laughing at some of the people on this forum. http://www.veforums.com/wink.gif ------------------ Waxax aka TrollBoss |
Well, I can see why you wouldn't want any newbies coming in, cause kicking newbie ass is boring. If newbies wanted to form some sort of big group thing and do it in some other room or something, then they should go ahead. I think that newbies should be allowed into the elite players thing, just they should know that they will get their asses severely kicked. I know it looks like I just switched positions, but hey, just trying to make a compromise. Also, why wasn't I invited? I'm a pretty good player (in my humble opinion). TheMad ------------------ The light at the end of the tunnel has been shut down due to budget cuts. |

It's not THE best players in sacrifice... Just non-newbie players that we know. |

I think if Excil would not have named this "Elite Multiplayer Orgy" but perhaps "Iīd like to play some of you!" this would not have been so badly commented. I think itīs a nice idea to organize such a thing . Just note that everyone wants to play people he knows and heīs getting along with well or which are on his skill level http://www.veforums.com/smile.gif ------------------ SW-FuSiL ~~~Webmaster and Clan-Leader of Sacrifice Warfare~~~ IRC: #Warfare @irc.enterthegame.com E-Mail: carlos.rahlwes@gmx.de |
Woo-hoo! The elite players are all gonna be in Soul Harvest so maybe I'll finally be able to win a game in Skirmish! To Newbies/Mediocre players like me: I don't think this is uncool at all. Some of those players on the "elite" list have been quite helpful to me in sharing their advice and strategies. And if they get even better they'll have even more advice to give. And it's just one day -- most of the time they're out playing with or against the rest of us, so we still get to see what they're doing...it's not like a secret society or anything. |
