DX-9 or DX-10???

Which one is QW??? Can it do DX-10?

Thing is if they do both, it will be like playing BF2 in high and in low detail., I always played it in low, Cause you can see people easier and they show up better. DX-10 will cause better camofauge so DX-9 people will have an advantage. Plus the fact that low detail is always easier anyway.

Thats the problem, Having it look all nice and pretty puts a big disadvantage on you

It will be DirectX 9 compatible.

The reasons, are thus:

1) Splash Damage aren't stupid, they know they'd be in a very bad position if they made the game DX10-exclusive, because not only would non-Vista users be excluded from playing it, Linux and Mac users will also be shut out.

2) Even if they wanted to, they couldn't, because Microsoft aren't giving anyone (not even firewall/antivirus devs) the vital code needed to create Vista- and DX10-compatible applications.

Besides, DX10 doesn't really improve the graphics that much, so it's not that big a deal.

Sound, I'm glad its DX-9 only personally.

People rushing out buying DX-10 cards are just getting stung, Ill wait till theres a game thats DX-10 that i want before spending a fortune on them. Prices willo be cheaper, Driver bugs will be gone and may even get alot better revision of whatever card i choice to get.

People are silly that go out buying new technology straight away, It's always has loads of problems at first.

Didn't the company state that they wanted everyone to play and not have to upgrade to play their game? I think they made a wise choise at this time.

Isn't it opengl? If it is it could be played on any platform basically.
