It's strange that I've never had any problems with games, although I have a self-built PC and Windows 98 that has never been updated. Good luck, I guess.

That´s first game where zooming is done by one key, stupid way!

And my´n manual only says:
Kiikaritähtäimen käyttö = käytä näppäin

nothing about pressing it to zoom, and I played tutorial...E or enter but hold it, I don´t remember.

I run the game with all the eye candy on max detail with no problems at all.
No installation problems and have yet to encounter any kind of bug.
honestly I believe that the majority of the people I see having problem just have no clue how to set a machine up properly.

I've had Max Payne since this thread started, but I hadn't played the game for hours non-stop. So I felt I didn't qualify to rate as bug-free. But, last night I played for about 3 hrs. non-stop...no cig break...no nuthin'. Just to test the out-of-the-box stability.
