is everything set to high on anybodys computer that have 500-800mhz?

cvbncvbn July 29th, 2001 11:20 PM

well it ran bug-free the whole time but the frame rate was low unless the graphics were set pretty low. But even on low the grapics were still pretty good!

My system:

TB 1000 B
QDI KinetiZ 7B (KT133)
256 MB noname RAM CL3
MSI Geforce2MX 32 MB SDRAM @215/180
using Detonator 12.00
Terratec XFire 1024
Win98 SE

runs very fine with nearly everthing set to high detail in 1024x768 32 bit (16bit Textures)

I have freezes (i need to reset after that) sometimes, but NOT often (1 time in 3 or 4 hours). But I think this has to do with my overclocked geforce2mx and the inofficial detonators.

I´m absolutely lucky with mp.

No joke:

Pentium II 266
196M RAM
Monster 3D II (Voodoo2 with 12M texture memory)
Soundblaster AWE

I'm running at 800x600 with everything at the lowest setting
except for different sounds and different particle variations,
which as far as I know only requires more memory. In some
places (smaller rooms) it's actually smooth--the (SLIGHT SPOILER)
mansion level rocks. Only a _few_ crashes, but considering I
never expected the game to run anyway (I'm below the minimum for
both CPU speed _and_ video texture memory) I'm still really
impressed with the visuals. You people with tricked out boxes
(I'm getting mine soon, really!) must be in graphic heaven...
