I've had Max Payne since this thread started, but I hadn't played the game for hours non-stop. So I felt I didn't qualify to rate as bug-free. But, last night I played for about 3 hrs. non-stop...no cig break...no nuthin'. Just to test the out-of-the-box stability. Abit KT7 RAID 1 Ghz T-bird @ 1.0 256MB Micron PC133 VisionTek GeForce 3 @ 230/535 20 GB Maxtor 7200 IDE SBLive!Value Memorex 2X2 burner Pioneer 10X/32X DVD/CD all under Win98SE 10x7x32-3xFSAA, 64 tap aniso and smooth as silk. Had one lock-up when I first installed the game a week ago when I was about to walk in Max's bedroom door after his wife was shot. Dropped the GF3 core clk down from 235 to 230...not even a hiccup since. |
