No patch used, no patch needed.

It only runs with the patch, crashed every time without it.

NO patch (Don't want to screw up a good thing...)

The Double Buffer instead of Triple Buffer setting is what made it run for me...Poor Voodoo3 doesn't like to triple buffer.

A couple of tips:
I was having problems with the game locking up,I went to nVIDIA's website and downloaded
Detonator3 v12.41, backed off on my resolution to 1024x768x16, the game runs fine.
It Rocks.

Runs perfectly But I had to install the patch to get it started.
My Specs:
Abit KT7-Raid Motherboard
AMD TBIRD 900
256Mb PC133 RAM
ASUS Geforce2 GTS V7700 Deluxe (have yet to try Max Payne with 3D glasses)
DX8.0a
SBLive! X-Gamer
