After a long break in recruiting, all members looking for a unit can now join. You must be 15 or older. One of our main concerns is ACTIVITY. YOU HAVE TO BE ACTIVE! If you can't dedicate then we will have problems keeping you. However, If you can get on an play with us every weekend and maybe in the evenings then you should have no problem.
We do have TS. IP : ts33.gameservers.com:8787
(209.246.143.202:8787)
The 42nd Special Operations Battalion has gone through many changes during its 4 years of activity. We have members from a broad variety of occupations. I.e Military, EMT, Fire Depts. and also some students.
We do live up to the core values that have been established 4 years ago.
Our main goal for yiu is to build some relationships to the members in the unit (friendship) and that you represent the unit in a good manner. We DO want to take part in competition to show everyone that we are one of the best. We've been through many peaks and valleys in our history and now we want to try and bring life to the 42nd again, by YOU joining us. We used to have ranks but we feel that they are not as important. We know what you have done and who you are after a while.
Stick to one thread per clan, bump when you've had major changes.
Read the rules.

We understand that you are looking for a unit that you can be proud of, which is why we have devised a little document which will explain in full what we are about and what you can expect if you so decide to become a member of the 42nd. The 42nd Special Operations Battalion is unlike any other gaming unit in existence: we are unique in our structure, in our ambitions and, with every new member, we become more unique in our overall personality. The 42nd is a diamond amongst coal; a shining example of what community is all about. With this in mind, let's see what the 42nd Special Operations Battalion has to offer!
COMMUNITY
The primary focus here in the 42nd is community building, even more than gaming skills or becoming the "winningest" unit on TWL. We want everyone to feel like the 42nd is a "third place," or a home away from home. We believe that the person is more important than the rank or even the entire battalion; this is why our names come before our ranks and our battalion in our gaming tags. We also wish to build lasting friendships during our time serving the 42nd, so we require that everyone use their true last name in their tags: this helps to instill a sense of trust and closeness amongst the rest of the battalion, which in turn builds a stronger community.
GAMING SKILLS
Although skill is not a primary factor in the recruitment process, we still have access to some pretty amazingly talented players in the 42nd. Because of our strong sense of community, our most talented players are always willing to set some time aside to assist those who are looking to advance their in-game skills. From grenade throwing to long range pistol shooting, we can help you increase your accuracy and your consistency.
A FUTURE
There are many unique goals which the 42nd is constantly striving to achieve and we always attempt to incorporate those members who wish to contribute to the overall cause. The 42nd is much more than a gaming organization; we are a business and, in the end, everyone will have an opportunity to benefit and—possibly—profit.
Ranking structure, awards and recogntion are inclusive. With TS and soon a gaming server. We also offer leadership positions right from the start
