163989 Mapper needing suggestions... Stinger[imported] December 11th, 2000 10:44 PM Well, I don't have the game yet, though, I love the demo, and a bunch of my clan already has the game. But I love to make maps, I made about 11 or so Multiplayer maps for DarkReign2. So I was wondering, what type of things do you like to do in maps. What kind of objectives and such. Any suggestoins on what you wanna see on a multiplayer map would help me greeatly for when i get the game and start making maps. I will also be doing a campaign with someone as well, any suggestions for campaigns would be great too.  ------------------
| §†ïngér 163990 Asmor December 11th, 2000 11:14 PM I dunno if there already are maps like this, but I'd like to see more "gimicky" maps, ala Starcraft's paintball and myriad others. Also, I like to play fairly defensively, and I'd like to see a map where defense and guerilla tactics would work well, something where you'd have to take the map progressively. For example, suppose you had two people on opposite sides of the map, and several manashirines between them. This would not only create a natural conflict, but it would also make it so that you'd have to take the map progressively. You'd have to step in 1 lith at a time. And, of course, if a wiz had the gonads they could go behind enemy lines, take one of their liths to seperate the forces, and dig in there. 163991 Stinger[imported] December 12th, 2000 04:34 PM *bump* anyone else? ------------------

And maybe some big maps too for some large scale battle.
