Any gameboy players out there?

I need a bit of help on one of my GBA games, but I don't think very many people here play GBA, let alone play the game I'm speaking of.... I'll give it a shot, anyway.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age
I've been following a walkthrough for this game because I couldn't figure it out on my own. When I got to the Yampi Desert, the walkthough told me to take the south exit. If you take that exit, there's a sign warning you that it's tough to get back. When it came time for me to take the North exit, I couldn't even get back up the sand fall. I tried everything- Using scoop, reveal, even pound. There was nothing. The walkthough's explanation was consufing and impossible to follow. So, Does anyone here play the game and know how to get to the city of Alhafra? :confused:

If anyone can search it either.... and paste it.... I think that'd work too.

I can't remember exactly how I did it, but the walkthrough I got the info from was from Gamefaqs.com. Maybe you can get better help there.

Alhafra, damn I hate that place, i'm currently(well 2 years) stuck there, a boat is in my way, get out of my way I say, no the boat says, I try to convince it but it's not having any of it, I'm currently heartbroken and seeking a divorce, not going well though, it wants the condo.

Hmm Mabey I can help I use to play Golden sun but stoped cause I was intriduced to Conqueronline. Let me go get a walktrough online. Ill do it later though.
