Default Steam Question.

You can't activate a game like Call of Duty onto Steam can you? Just a thought.

Just point me at the enemy, and stay out of my way.

No way, Cod is made by Activision and hl2 is made by Vavle, unless the two company's were collaborating then they might share a thing like 'Steam' to activate each others games.

Default Re: Steam Question.

I'll sum up with the two above stated.

If it's not a steam powered game, it won't plug into Steam

If it is a steam powered game, it HAS to be Steam

Alright, because I was told you can activate HL on steam if it wasn't on there yet, as long as you have the CD key and it is installed.

Just point me at the enemy, and stay out of my way.

You can activate HL on steam. You don't even need it installed either just the CD key. Then you can download it off of steam.

You don't even need to "activate" Call of Duty anyway.

And Half Life is a Valve made game, and therefore works with Steam.

If there is no answer to your tech question, try asking in the General Tech Support Area gamingforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=398
