America's Army Files

Hey All,

I am sure this may have been covered before and I apologize if it has but I am looking to get into AA. I am very active in BF2 and looking to get into other games. I have found some of the AA files but seems the ones I download are always the same. If someone would be kind enough to post the files and patches in order that I would need to download I would greatly appreciate it. Once again I would like to apologize if this post has been covered before.

The file names are pretty much the same, it's coding within the files (which you will most likely never see) that is different. The additional maps from 1 v to another, certain PB improvements, a long list.

If you have a top end machine (v2.6 requirements are tuff compared to say 2.1) then 2.6 is the way go. The weaker your machine the more likely you will need the lower end versions. From having started a year ago this month, the only same components remaining from upgrades are the Socket A AMD 2500 and the HDDs. Even changed from dial up to 100Mps broadband. 4x'd my RAM to 2G using Kingston HyperX CAS2.

There is no going back :).

2.6 is the most recent version. I'd be surprised if there were any servers still around for any of the older versions, and certainly not any official ones...

I still use 2.5, I don't even know why. There are about 20 servers running it, i think, and they are all official/honor servers.

It's not even laziness. I have 2.6 on my computer... I just don't want to install it...

Did i hear you right? 100mbps broadband?:eek::eek::eek: FFS YOU **** I WANT SOME.

Lol, im from Britain, and as a result, i get 1mbps end of. Its crap for hosting game servers (AA and JO, etc).

Any how, back to JO :-) :tank:

yes, 100Mps is the minimum; My dload is 1024, my up is 512 burst.

I live in a mountainous area and work for a company ever expanding broad band to this community over 4 counties. My Subscribe module is less than 1500m to the Access Point which is 3500m on a 80m tower

We use Motorola Canopy equipment with various antennae settings. Our farthest installed site is 60 miles and ever expanding. :), but I could never tell you what THAT TAKES TO ACCOMPLISH.

I still can still get opfor tk'd, :(, :) but then there's lotza reaons for that.

Sure as hale beats my old dialup :))
