Global Warming

Is there any way to disable global warming or at least fight it.

Re: Global Warming

Use less nuclear weapons. I think certain facilities in cities also reduce some of the factors which increase global warming.

In other civ-games you had an option to fight global warming with an UN-decision, I don't know if that works still, but perhaps it does.

That is just the point I haven't used any nukes it started just after I started industrialization. Is there any mods or something to turn it off. At the very least I need a way to fight it.

Re: Global Warming

Try to reduce squalor in your cities. I think certain buildings, like factories, increase global warming, while others reduce it.

As for mods, I don't know about them, maybe you will find something with google.

You can fight or atleast slow it by building recycling centers, mass transit, planting trees, etc.

Re: Global Warming

Maybe you can’t Civ3 and 4 may be blurring together, but check for it, it would be a worker ability.

I don't see a worker ability in the manual about planting forests or jungles. It may have been omitted in the manual, though. You never know.
