Re: How did you get into gaming?

My dad... I remember playing our Sega Genesis together all the time when I was 3 or 4. And then when I got to see him again [around 7 or so], we played his N64 constantly.

Some of my best memories with him are gaming-involved, actually, haha. Just spending the weekend beating Super Mario 64 or Mace: The Dark Age, or going to rental places and spending like an hour just browsing the games section. ^_^

Re: How did you get into gaming?

i was a young boy and my parents bought me computer. It's a simple formula really. Commodore 64 was my first, and, I know this is 'uncool', but they really don't make games like they used to. The difficulty level of games on C64 was immense. And because of that, highly addictive. It would be so satisfyig and exciting if u progressed a little bit further. Most games now you can complete easily in no time. All graphics. Tekken takes about half an hour to complete and you could do it closing your eyes.

Re: How did you get into gaming?

I got into gaming when I was like 5 when my dad came home from work one day with computer. It had a few games on it and was only green and black, I think it was a 386 or something. Later on I got a super nintendo for xmas one year with super mario world and LOVED it. I think the first day I got it I played for like 12 hours. :P
After that we got out first computer(the other was a borrowed one) it was 200mhz and thats when I got into computers fully. We never had the internet though, i've only had it for about 4 years I think.

Re: How did you get into gaming?

My friend used to have a Nintendo 64, I loved it. Playing Mario was the best.
Then I bought an Xbox a few years ago, and loved it.
Now, just this last year, an LAN Center just opened in my neighbourhood, so I go there quite regularly to play some Battlefield 2.
Then, finally, just this year I built my own Gaming Machine. :D

Re: How did you get into gaming?

Well, I started playing computer games when I was about 3 years of age. Back then, my parents had a ZX Spectrum and a Commodore 16+4 along with several games for both platforms.

First games I remember playing were Treasure Island and Icicle Works for the Commodore 16+4, and Impossible Mission II and Escape from Singe's Castle for the Spectrum.
From that point onwards, my gaming collection gradually increased, then onto the Mega Drive/Genesis, and finally the PC, which I've been playing games on ever since.

Re: How did you get into gaming?

I played Aladdin for the Genesis when I was about 11 or so I think, and I've had a moderate (if not slowly drifting) relationship with the gaming community and games in general. I think the internet and school have made it less of a "oh I'll play a video game that sounds fun" sort of activity and more of a social thing, where you'll fire up some Halo or something with a couple friends.

Re: How did you get into gaming?

I started my gaming ventures playing Wolfenstein 3D. I started this when I was about 6 or 7. I then moved on to Doom 95 and then Duke Nukem. After that it was anything I could get my hands on. I basically only played on a console for the Metal gear solid series. I have probably played each installment about 10 or so times. CANNOT WAIT FOR GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS!!!!

Three words and a game:

Nintendo Entertainment System + Super Mario Bros.

I was no more than 4. Those were times and a half. I never did defeat the final Bowser in 1...

Re: How did you get into gaming?

First real computer game was when I accidentally found a copy of Dark Forces that came with the computer. We had the computer since I was five, but I first played when I was twelve and a half.

What got me into multiplayer was its sequel, Jedi Knight. First "modern" game I played was Elite Forces.
