Faster Way of Transportation?

i've just recently just gone back to guild wars.
i've realised how boring and slow it is to travel around by foot, especially when you're by yourself.
then it striked me, wouldnt it be more fun and convenient if people could have other ways to get around? i'm a ranger and sometimes i just wish i could put my pet into use.
so what do you think? and if you think its a good idea, what do you thing some classes should use?

If it was just for Rangers I might say yes, because Beast Masters hardly do any damage as it is, so a boost for that may help.

But travelling in Guild Wars isn't that bad, compared to some games, sometimes its a bit tiresome though.

How do you find it tiresome... when running around inside an instance?

I really don't mind it. I use my 'M'ap to do most of my traveling anyways.

That should basically be the only tavelling you do, and it's instant. Cities aren't exactly gigantic, and inside instances you shouldn't really need to run quickly while clearing with your party.

Yeah, I think that's a dumb idea, it's fine how it is.

Its okay how it is for me, I just kill stuff along the way to occupy myself.

yes i use the Map to do my instant teleportation once ive discovered a city
but usually i discover areas myself by wandering around and paving my own way in earnin a title but wandering around on foot usually seems quite slow to me.
