This was back when I was playing Fager-strike (Counter Strike). I was going on a server and it was a clan server. I was being watched to be recruited. Next thing I know BOOOOOOM power outage. The whole street, everyhouse.I hear my dad say, "Ok everybody be calm, it is ok." All I scream is "S*%(. I was F*%)ing OWNING". Then I could not get the internet back up, so I just wen to bed. It was of course lke 3 in the morning.

Dude, that's happened to me so many times.
Like, I'll be in the middle of playing a new game, and I've gotten really good at it. And I start playing it like a crack-whore on speed (eh! I'm not sure what kind of monster I just created), and then I d/c for like 3 days because some nut-job crashed into the little power dealie for the cable company.
Then I sit around staring at the ceiling or pace the the entire length of the house, whining about being 'bored', because life loses it's flavor because the game is so damn addictive.

Its annoying when you accidently quick save at a point where you will die no matter what you do when you load.... that happened to me in half-life. I quicksaved when I was falling down from a high ledge

This is sad. Most of the things you guys are posting have happened to me... I have bad luck with games. By far the worst is saving over a game you've poured hours into. Sad.

Overwriting my 84.3% GT3 file with ver 100 cars with my friends 33.2% with just 6....

The saving when you die thing has happened to me before a few times, that sucks.

The biggest one, I'll play for hours on end (mostly this happened when playing Star Ocean) and not save it then do something wrong like use a rare item or lose something and then have to reset, gah.
